What are your thoughts about [name]Ella[/name]-[name]Bleu[/name]?
It just makes me think of [name]John[/name] Travolta’s daughter with the same name minus the hyphen. Not my style.
My immediate thought was that it is the name of [name]John[/name] Travolta’s daughter, although I don’t think she uses a hyphen.
I like the name [name]Ella[/name] a lot, just by itself. I don’t like [name]Bleu[/name] or [name]Blue[/name] as names at all… personally I would not even use it as a middle name, but I don’t mind it there. I like the spelling [name]Blue[/name] much better, because when I see [name]Bleu[/name] I want to pronounce it the French way (not sure how to write that phonetically, but it’s not pronounced like [name]Blue[/name]).
I like some hyphenated names, if they are short enough to not be a mouthful. [name]Ella[/name]-[name]Rose[/name], maybe.
I do not keep up with the names celebrities use, so did not know this was one. I love the flow and sound of it. At first I was not a fan of the color names, but the more I hear some of them, the more I like them, especially [name]Grey[/name]/[name]Gray[/name] and Bleu/Blue.
I kind of like [name]Gray[/name]/[name]Grey[/name] for a boy. Probably the only color name I like (I think of [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Lilac[/name] as flower names more than color names).
[name]Ella[/name] [name]Bleu[/name] Travolta is one of the older celebrity names. I like to watch them because some of them are so crazy, and also because some of them set a trend - although it’s annoying sometimes that when a celebrity uses a name it’s all of sudden labeled “cool.”
My first thought was also [name]Ella[/name] [name]Bleu[/name] Travolta, she was probably the first [name]Ella[/name] I’d ever heard of and I remember her name being a hot topic. Now [name]Ella[/name] and all of its forms are just worn out to me
Also, every “[name]Blue[/name]” I’ve known was a male, I don’t think it sounds nice on a girl
I love [name]Ella[/name]
I love [name]Blue[/name]
[name]Just[/name] not together
What about:
Ellarose
[name]Inka[/name] [name]Blue[/name]
[name]Lotta[/name] [name]Mae[/name]
[name]Calla[/name] [name]Rue[/name]
[name]Elle[/name]-[name]Bleu[/name] just doesn’t sound like a name to me. It sounds more like a restaurant name… [name]Bleu[/name] is also pronounced as “ble” in French so it just sounds bad [name]Elle[/name]-ble… it’s like you threw up while saying the name… not sure if you’re going with the French pronunciation, but if you aren’t, then I would recommend just sticking to [name]Blue[/name] so you don’t get the “ble” sound.
I agree that the French pronunciation [name]Elle[/name]-[name]Bleu[/name] is not good. If you’re wanting [name]Elle[/name] [name]Blue[/name], just spell it that way. It’s not my favorite combo, but that would make it better
I love [name]Ella[/name], and the idea of it in a double-barrel is quite appealing to me. I’ve had [name]Ella[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] nn [name]Ella[/name] [name]Cate[/name] on my long list forever (likely wouldn’t use it, since [name]Isabelle[/name]'s my top choice), but I also really, really love [name]Ella[/name] Roo, and have been thinking about [name]Ella[/name] Roo/[name]Bella[/name] Roo as a nn for my [name]Isabelle[/name] combo. I think something like [name]Ella[/name] [name]Rose[/name], [name]Ella[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Ella[/name] [name]Pearl[/name], [name]Ella[/name] [name]Paige[/name], etc., are all really cute, too. [name]Blue[/name]/[name]Bleu[/name] I don’t really see the appeal of, but I agree that [name]Blue[/name] would probably be more usable. I keep thinking of blue cheese and cordon bleu–while [name]Ella[/name]-[name]Blue[/name]/[name]Ella[/name] [name]Blue[/name] seems more “namey”. I like [name]Ella[/name] [name]Rue[/name] or [name]Ella[/name] Roo a lot more, though, personally!
