Ella or Nora

Which one do you prefer?

Why not use [name]Eleanor[/name]? It’s beautiful and classic and it’s a pathway to both [name]Ella[/name] and [name]Nora[/name].

[name]Nora[/name], it’s such an elegant name, underused name. I’ve only ever known one. [name]Ella[/name] is cute, but it always feels more like a nn to me.

My preference is [name]Nora[/name] - classically beautiful and wears well at any age.

I prefer [name]Ella[/name]. I used to love [name]Norah[/name], but I just don’t see the appeal anymore. It seems harsh to me, and very bratty, thanks to the little [name]Nora[/name] I know. I could be wrong, but it seems like a lot of Berries prefer [name]Nora[/name] just because it’s much less used than [name]Ella[/name] (although I know more Noras than Ellas, personally), so they opt for [name]Nora[/name], but popularity seems like a silly reason to discount a name, so I say [name]Ella[/name] with all my heart. I love it.

My vote is for [name]Nora[/name]! I do love [name]Ella[/name],though, as I’m a huge [name]Ella[/name] [name]Fitzgerald[/name] fan. [name]Even[/name] though [name]Ella[/name]/[name]Ellie[/name] names are popular, it’s a beautiful name nonetheless.

I second @erinlw 's suggestion of [name]Eleanor[/name]. That way you get both [name]Ella[/name] and [name]Nora[/name]!

I also like the suggestion of [name]Eleanor[/name].

Of the 2, I prefer [name]Nora[/name] simply because I’m tired of meeting [name]Ella[/name]'s.

[name]Nora[/name]. I know way too many babies named [name]Ella[/name], [name]Elle[/name] & [name]Ellie[/name]

I have a little lady with [name]Ella[/name] in her name and [name]Nora[/name] is really high up on my list if we ever have another girl. I really love [name]Nora[/name] more as the full name, but both are lovely.

I think both are super pretty! I give [name]Nora[/name] the slight edge just b/c it’s a bit less popular seeming and I like a name to stand out somewhat. But [name]Ella[/name] is certainly beautiful as well.

I prefer [name]Eleanor[/name] or [name]Eleanora[/name] tbh, but if you’re down to [name]Ella[/name] and [name]Nora[/name], I’d go with [name]Nora[/name]. [name]Ella[/name]'s lost all specialness for me.

I love [name]Nora[/name]!
