That helps me! I think Ella Margot H_ton looks visually really smart - fresh & tailored - and like the syllable pattern BUT it’s not as smooth to say as Ella Margaret H, certainly not for me. I don’t find it the easiest run from “go” “Ham”, it’s a bit mumbly. It’s not terrible but it’s not as pleasing and lyrical as with Margaret in the middle.
Possibly too vintage for you, but Ella Marjorie H has a great rhythm to it. It’s a gentler flow to H than Margot is, and gives a nice difference in letters by not having the T in both Margaret and Ham’ton. I find it so warm and honeyed and lovely! It would be my pick.
If you do go Margot, can I suggest Margaux - somehow for me it helps with the name: Ella Margaux Ham’ton.
And finally, if you’re going for June, a one syllable name, I would consider Pearl - with its direct connection to Megan - instead: Ella Pearl Ham’ton. I prefer Marjorie or Margaret or Margaux/Margot (or even Maggie) but if you’re going for a one syllable, I might go Pearl. Though just to keep on toes, June does flow nicely to your last name!
Hope this helps you!
