Elle and LuLu?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] berries! I have a sweet little El0ise and just trying to work out a cute nickname for her…while I still have some control over it! Haha. Right now we all call her by her full name but we do get asked occasionally if we call her [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] or [name_f]Ella[/name_f]…um no!

My original plan was to go with the occasional nn’s of [name_f]Elle[/name_f] and [name_f]LuLu[/name_f]. Those two still have my heart. Is [name_f]LuLu[/name_f] too much of a stretch? I think it’s spunky, sweet, and vintage. I really like it. And [name_f]Elle[/name_f] ages perfectly, is chic and beautiful. Too popular though? I never hear just “[name_f]Elle[/name_f]” so that makes me happy! I also like how intuitive and natural this one feels. [name_m]Both[/name_m] are nicknamey which I like because it doesn’t take anything away from her full name, impo.

So basically I’m thinking El0ise with the Nn’s [name_f]Elle[/name_f] & [name_f]LuLu[/name_f]

thanks in advance!!

I think [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] is very sweet but my personal choice would be [name_f]Elle[/name_f].

I agree, I think [name_f]Elle[/name_f] is so cute!

[name_f]Lulu[/name_f] is perfect for a little kid, maybe just wait and see your daughter’s personality a bit more! Call her whichever feels more natural! Call her both! She can have 2 nicknames, (I’m so jealous! I want a nickname! [name_f]Imagine[/name_f] having 2!)

At first as sisters [name_f]Elle[/name_f] and [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] were way too sugary sweet, but it could.
Have you considered [name_f]Eloisa[/name_f] or [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]? The nickname [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] might seem more natural? I also L or [name_f]Elle[/name_f] could be a nickname for any girl’s name starting with the letter?
I do think [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] nn [name_f]Elle[/name_f] and [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] could work. I imagine eventually she will out grow [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] no matter what. It’s a nice name and good to have formal names.
Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m]!

I think [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] is perfect for [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], it is very spunky  and not too much of a stretch. The [name_u]Lou[/name_u] is in [name_f]Eloise[/name_f].

If you’re that insulted by the idea of [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]/[name_f]Ella[/name_f], why is [name_f]Elle[/name_f] a logical choice? Start calling her [name_f]Elle[/name_f] around family/friends, she’s going to be an [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] in no time. Not to mention that [name_f]Elle[/name_f] can be pronounced as ell-ie anyway.

[name_f]Lulu[/name_f] is a lovely, vintage-y balance of sweet-mischievous. It’s adorable. She might grow into a [name_u]Lou[/name_u]/[name_f]Lula[/name_f] in the long run, if [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] becomes too cutesy.

I agree with OliviaSarah that if you use [name_f]Elle[/name_f] it will become [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] in no time.
[name_m]How[/name_m] about Lo? I just love Lo.

[name_f]Elle[/name_f] all the way. It’s less common than [name_f]Ella[/name_f]. It’s also sophisticated and cute and has this vintage and glamorous vibe. It would make a perfect nn for [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]!

Not a fan of [name_f]Lulu[/name_f], but [name_f]Elle[/name_f] works perfectly!

I think the spunky [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] would be a cute nickname for your [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]. [name_f]Elle[/name_f] means “she” in [name_m]French[/name_m] so I’m not a fan of that name.

Thanks!

I’m actually considering Lo as well, I just don’t like how it makes me think of “Low”.

[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Ella[/name_f] are cute, they’re just very popular where I live. I don’t necesarily think [name_f]Elle[/name_f] would turn into those either. I’ve always loved it
