Elle or Ella?

Elle! [name_u]Love[/name_u] it!

Ella is my personal favourite - although [name_f]Elle[/name_f] gives tough competition as it reminds me of the Legally Blonde films which always make me smile!

I like [name_f]Elle[/name_f] better as a nickname, but if it’s standing alone I like [name_f]Ella[/name_f]

Elle, it feels a little more wearable in adulthood IMO. Also, I know so many little Ellas and related names ([name_f]Bella[/name_f], [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], [name_f]Stella[/name_f]). They’re all lovely children but it’s name saturation for me. This might be a regional thing that doesn’t apply to your situation or isn’t a deal breaker.

Elle! [name_f]My[/name_f] fav.

I like the name [name_f]Ella[/name_f] too but [name_f]Ella[/name_f] (and [name_f]Bella[/name_f]) are quite popular in my area.

I like [name_f]Elle[/name_f], but it doesn’t feel like a complete name so I’d prefer [name_f]Ella[/name_f]

Ella feels to me a more complete name, while the pronoun name in [name_u]French[/name_u] kind of robs [name_f]Elle[/name_f] of having much identity, I feel.

I prefer [name_f]Ella[/name_f]! [name_f]Elle[/name_f] just feels a little incomplete to me.

Ella!

Elle, out of personal preference.

Ella (“[name_f]El[/name_f]”)! Alexa play “The Best of Both Worlds” by [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_u]Montana[/name_u]!

I love [name_f]Ella[/name_f]! [name_f]Elle[/name_f] on its own feels way too serious for whatever reason  But I do love the sound as a quick nickname!

Elle also means “sun ray” or shining light” in the Hebrew origin. And “adorned” in the Latin origin

This is really hard both are so sweet!

My favourite is [name_f]Ella[/name_f] I think it’s just upbeat and I like that it’s connected to fairies through the meaning of [name_f]Ella[/name_f]. I do really like the name.

I actually like [name_f]Elle[/name_f] better as I have met so many [name_f]Ella[/name_f]’s.
