Very “meh” for me. Not exciting or new, just average.

I used to find it simple and sweet and wholesome and really likable… I still do, but it also feels a bit boring. There’s a very prominent figure in my faith whose name is [name_f]Ellen[/name_f], so I always think of her. She’s also why I probably wouldn’t use it myself… it just seems too iconic.

I do like the idea of her as a middle, but much prefer [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] in general, personally, or even Helena/Elena.

It’s a fine name. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though it’s really not common anymore it doesn’t feel fresh to me maybe due to all the Elle’s and Ella’s.

I think it might be an unpopular opinion, but I actually really like [name_f]Ellen[/name_f]! I don’t usually love “old lady” names, but there’s a little pocket of them that I consider really sweet and endearing, and [name_f]Ellen[/name_f] falls into that! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I associate it with cozy cottages and meadows and babbling brooks, just cozy outdoor things like that :potted_plant::butterfly::bouquet:

I want to like it but all I can see in my head is [name_f]Ellen[/name_f] DeGeneres
I think its one of those names that I would like if I actually met a little girl named [name_f]Ellen[/name_f]

I think, on a little girl, it would feel really refreshing and sweet. It ages well.

Not my favourite but it is pretty warm and sweet
