ruthie april - !!! i’ve never been big into april because it’s my aunt’s name, but it feels SO fresh next to ruthie! like april showers and spring !!! sunshine and mud !!!
jamie claude - this feels like a monet painting come to life !!! so soft and yet filled with flowers and sunshine
rudy benjamin - again !!! making rudy feel so fresh and young !!! benjamin has always felt so gentle to me, and together these names make a cuddly pair !!!
owen august - AHHHH yes !!! yes !!! i don’t even have words for this but this feels like the kind of warmth of the dying summer, just as you start returning to long sleeves. appreciating what you’ve had, and eager for the fall months to come.
kip oliver - i always picture kipper the dog when i see you using kip, and that is a wonderful association. so sweet and cuddly and lovely. and next to oliver !!! please !!!
hank jasper - those a sounds !!! ahhhhhh !!! perfectly paired since hank is sharper sounding, and jasper is all soft and wispy. they end up feeling like big grins and happily scraped knees !!!

joy has been on and off my list at various times in the past few months — before joy amelia, she was joy anouk, joy matilda, and louisa joy, but i think joy amelia may be my favorite yet! amelia is a longtime love of mine that i’ve always shied away from due to popularity, but with this latest installment of my list i decided to prioritize how a name makes me feel and if i can see it on a child of mine over arbitrary numbers! joy amelia feels so cozy and energetic and versatile in all the right ways. 
hank is a pretty new love — i have always adored henry and hal (the latter being unfortunately unusable to me), but i’m trying out the very fun hank! i am falling back in love with henry after a few years apart (before that, henry was my favorite boys name from ages eleven to seventeen), so we’ll see if hank sticks, but i think hank jasper is a sweet pair and i’m happy about it for now
