I’m having a hard time with this 3rd child’s name. I have daughters: [name]Elinor[/name] ([name]Ellie[/name]) [name]Kate[/name] and [name]Emery[/name] [name]Jane[/name]. My husband and I are not agreeing on anything. He likes: [name]June[/name], [name]Abigail[/name] ([name]Abby[/name]), [name]Dorothy[/name] ([name]Dottie[/name]). I like: [name]Macy[/name], [name]Mabel[/name], [name]Eden[/name], [name]Isla[/name]. We both kind of like [name]Evie[/name] as a nickname. I want to love the name we pick out. Any suggestions?
oh and we have a tough last name: Landenwich
[name]Evelyn[/name] is the first name that comes to mind, especially in regards to your other daughters names, I think it would sound really nice. [name]Evelyn[/name] [name]June[/name]?
Well my first question is [name]Do[/name] you want to keep the E theme you’ve started? ( Perfectly acceptable if you do). If yes, I really like [name]Eden[/name] with the nn [name]Eddie[/name] (close to [name]Evie[/name]). [name]Eden[/name] [name]Abigail[/name] is a very pretty compromise.
If starting with an E doesn’t matter or if you plan on having more children and don’t want to limit yourself now is a good time to switch it up. Some names that can give you [name]Evie[/name] as a nn are: [name]Beverly[/name], [name]Genevieve[/name], [name]Levenia[/name], or [name]Reeve[/name].
[name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Everly[/name], and [name]Everett[/name] are possibilities too.
We are considering [name]Evelyn[/name] with nn [name]Evie[/name], just not in love with it yet.
Not sure about sticking with E or not. I really just want to love the name. We do tend to agree on E names so far though.
Maybe [name]Eva[/name]/[name]Eve[/name] or [name]Elva[/name]? My favo from your list would be [name]Eden[/name] because it’s cute, classy and not very popular. You might also consider [name]Evangeline[/name], [name]Evette[/name] or [name]Geneva[/name].
I personally think [name]Ellie[/name], [name]Emery[/name] and [name]Evie[/name] is a bit much…I don’t mind [name]Eden[/name] as much for some reason.
If you want to deviate from the ‘E’ theme, have you considered [name]Sylvie[/name]? It feels similar to [name]Evie[/name] to me, but more distinct next to her sisters. And I just love the name, haha. It works as a stand alone name, or you could use it as a nickname to [name]Sylvia[/name] (I don’t like [name]Sylvia[/name] as much, but it is an option). I think [name]Sylvie[/name] is fresh, classy, sweet, and currently underused.
[name]Ever[/name], [name]Evangeline[/name], [name]Estee[/name] ([name]Essie[/name]) and [name]Eliza[/name] are more ‘e’ names that are nice.
[name]Ivy[/name], [name]Olive[/name], [name]Georgia[/name] and [name]Fern[/name] are some others
I did think of [name]Evelyn[/name] first, but I think you could also go with something like
[name]Geneva[/name]/[name]Genevra[/name]/[name]Genevieve[/name] - [name]Evie[/name] nn, different trend than either of your others, but you have an [name]El[/name] and [name]Em[/name] and this would be an -en-
[name]Annabeth[/name]/[name]Anabelle[/name]/[name]Annika[/name]/[name]Annaliese[/name] - again, it’s a different trend than your others so, but not competing yet with the same cadence.
[name]Aveline[/name]/[name]Averill[/name]/[name]Davina[/name]/[name]Livia[/name]/[name]Ravena[/name] - not sure why, they just seemed to fit
My first choice would be [name]Evelyn[/name], followed by [name]Annika[/name] and then [name]Geneva[/name] and then [name]Livia[/name]
I’d agree with [name]Evangeline[/name] and [name]Eden[/name] as good E names that aren’t too matchy with your children’s names.
What about [name]Ellie[/name], [name]Emery[/name] and [name]Isla[/name]- [name]Iris[/name]/ [name]Ione[/name]/[name]Imogene[/name] [name]Abigail[/name]- [name]Amelia[/name], AnnaSophia, Avonlea [name]Dorothy[/name]- [name]Daphne[/name], [name]Bette[/name], [name]Margot[/name], [name]Esther[/name], [name]Estelle[/name]
Evilly, [name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Everly[/name]?
What about [name]Estella[/name] nn [name]Stella[/name]?
I like [name]Eden[/name] & [name]Evelyn[/name].
Other suggestions
[name]Eloise[/name]
[name]Estelle[/name]
[name]Emilia[/name]
[name]Elaine[/name]
[name]Just[/name] came across [name]Ezri[/name]. It’s hebrew and means ‘helper, strong’
[name]Abigail[/name] [name]Isla[/name] would be pretty.
Again, the first name that came to mind was [name]Evelyn[/name]. It’s a beautiful vintage name that many people are using these days. It has a beautiful meaning (“wished for child”). I’ve loved it since watching [name]Pearl[/name] [name]Harbor[/name].
Other choices:
[name]Eulalie[/name]/[name]Eulala[/name] “[name]Eula[/name]”
[name]Etta[/name]
[name]Evangeline[/name]/[name]Evangelina[/name]/Evangelie “[name]Evie[/name]”
[name]Eve[/name]/[name]Eva[/name] “[name]Evie[/name]”
[name]Estelle[/name]/[name]Estella[/name] “[name]Essie[/name]”
[name]Erin[/name]
[name]Erica[/name]
[name]Eugenia[/name]/[name]Eugenie[/name]
[name]Esme[/name] “[name]Essie[/name]”
[name]Esther[/name] “[name]Essie[/name]”
My suggestion would be to stick with the E theme, but then again I think I’m a little OCD.
