Would you use [name]Ellie[/name] as a full name or just a nickname? If nickname please leave suggestions for a full name!
I’d use it as a nickname but I don’t think it’s complete enough to use as a given name.

Pretty much any name that starts with [name]El[/name]- or ends with -elle/-ella.
I do think it could stand on its own as a first name, but personally I wouldn’t use it. My favorite way to get the nickname would be [name]Eleanore[/name], probably.
I have thought of this as we considered [name]Eleanor[/name], and I [name]LOVE[/name] the nn [name]Ellie[/name]. I do think [name]Ellie[/name] stands on her own, but I would name the baby [name]Eleanor[/name] and call her [name]Ellie[/name]… I just like to give the choice for when they are older…
I know two [name]Ellie[/name]/[name]Elle[/name] that are on it’s own. They are both so intelligent and strong woman and certainly prove that [name]Ellie[/name] can stand on it’s own!
