I need people’s opinions on this name set. I’m working on this coming-of-age story and it’s important to me that all the names flow nicely together without sounding clunky or awkward.
I started off with the names [name_u]Elliot[/name_u], [name_m]Lucas[/name_m], [name_u]Zoe[/name_u], and [name_f]Maya[/name_f], which I love, but there was one more character I needed to give a name. I came up with a couple that paired nicely with the others’ names, but they just didn’t fit this character’s personality and overall vibe.
I finally thought of a name that I think sounds fine with the others - [name_m]Simon[/name_m] - while also fitting the character himself, but I want to hear other people’s opinions.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_m]Simon[/name_m] sounds good with all the other names? I’ve been told it might sound weird with [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] because of their shared “s” sounds. Also, I decided to change Zoe’s name to [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] because I think [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] just sounds better with [name_m]Simon[/name_m], but tell me what you think.
Should I go with something else or change anything? I’m a big overthinker when coming up with names so I usually need to hear from people what they think.
