I am in love with the names of [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_u]Elliott[/name_u]. I know they are similar in sound and meaning. Are they too similar to be used for siblings?
Hm… I’m on the fence.
As full names, it works. But if when [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] grows up she wants to go by [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], that’d definitely be too close to [name_u]Elliot[/name_u].
Could also go by [name_f]Liza[/name_f]! Which I think is beautiful. @marleyc With the example name you gave ([name_u]Asher[/name_u] & [name_u]Jude[/name_u]) I think that [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] are broken up enough to not conflict. If a name that was purposefully shortened or often shortened to [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] ([name_f]Elenor[/name_f] (all spellings), [name_f]Eliana[/name_f], etc.) it would be more impactful. But I think [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] stands on its own enough to miss that issue!
