I think [name_f]Colette[/name_f] is sweeter and more stylish. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] is a thought. An [name_f]El[/name_f]- name but more in the style of [name_f]Colette[/name_f]. Could also be shortened to [name_f]Elle[/name_f]/[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]. Good luck!

I like the pp’s suggestion of [name_f]Elodie[/name_f].

I much prefer [name_f]Colette[/name_f]. It’s stylish, sexy, slightly exotic and interesting.

I prefer [name_f]Colette[/name_f].

[name_f]Colette[/name_f] is much prettier. [name_u]Ellison[/name_u] doesn’t sound pleasant or feminine.

Definitely [name_f]Colette[/name_f]!

[name_u]Ellison[/name_u] is my favorite. I think [name_u]Ellison[/name_u] nn [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] is sweet. I dont like the -cole part of [name_f]Colette[/name_f].

Oh definitely [name_u]Ellison[/name_u]! These names have very different vibes about them. [name_f]Colette[/name_f] is outdated, an old lady name, but not one that is coming back in. [name_u]Ellison[/name_u] is fresh, new, and yes, maybe a little trendy, but nothing so horrendous its unusable. It also has gorgeous nickname choices, [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] or [name_f]Ella[/name_f]

[name_f]Colette[/name_f]!!!

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]!
Did you end up going with [name_f]Colette[/name_f] and calling her [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]? I have a colette and she will be 2 in [name_f]April[/name_f] and sometimes I wish she had a nn and love [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]! Not sure if it is too much of a stretch!??

[name_f]Colette[/name_f] out of those two options. [name_u]Ellison[/name_u] is a boys name to me.

Out of the two I would pick [name_f]Colette[/name_f], but I really love the suggestion of [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] if you’re looking to use [name_f]Elle[/name_f]/[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]. I dislike [name_u]Ellison[/name_u] because I find it so masculine especially with the -son ending, an [name_u]Ellison[/name_u] could be male or female and that concerns me when I’m picking names.

I prefer [name_f]Colette[/name_f], but for the nickname [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] I’d use [name_u]Ellison[/name_u].
