We are expecting our 2nd daughter in [name]July[/name], big sister is named [name]Ayla[/name], and are having a heck of a time finding a name. I love the name Ellory, but my husband thinks it’s a boys name. (Has to do with some periodical put out years ago with a detective named Ellory)
Anyway…does it sound like a boy or girl to you?

I think of it as a girls name because it kind of reminds me of [name]Mallory[/name].
I too think of it as a boy’s name, but in this day and age… everything’s apparently unisex. 
[name]Emery[/name] might be a nice choice, also unisex, but sounds a little more girl-ish.
Spelled Ellory I can see how it looks a little masculine, but spelled [name]Ellery[/name] or [name]Eleri[/name], this is definitely a beautiful girls name in my opinion!
Spelled [name]Ellery[/name] I really like it as a girl’s name. I prefer the ery spelling for some reason. I like it with [name]Ayla[/name] too.
