[name_f]Bronwen[/name_f], [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] and [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] are my favourite middles for [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]. I wouldn’t know how to pronounce [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] or [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f]. Combined with [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], which is unusual in the outside world, I think these combinations may be a bit too ‘out there’.

@dayjoy thank you!! [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] and [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] are pronounced Seer-shuh and kee-vuh  I think they’re probably more familiar where I am, but perhaps you’re right. Thanks again

If I was to cut the list to

[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Bronwen[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f]

Which would you pick? Thanks!!

My overall favourite is [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] – I love how sweet and pretty the combo sounds. I also really like [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Maren[/name_f] and [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Saffron[/name_f].

From your shortened list, I would still definitely go with [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]. I think the two names go together beautifully!

Ahh, if they’re familiar where you live, it could work. I love the sound of [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f], but no sure it flows with [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] (it’s that [name_f]Dee[/name_f]-kee part). Maybe it’s my unfamiliarity of the name, but seer-shuh reminds me of a seizure.

[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] is definitely my favorite, but of your shortened list, [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is just gorgeous. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] is so musical and full of life. I feel like [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] matches that frequency perfectly with its soft consonants and fiery color. [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] takes it to a dreamier, more vintage place that I feel softens [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]. I personally don’t care for [name_f]Bronwen[/name_f] at all, as the [name_m]Bron[/name_m]- syllable feels a little boorish and abrasive to me. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] would be my third choice, only because the spelling and pronunciation aren’t intuitive at all unless you live in a place where Gaelic names are more common. Based on the sound, I find that [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] brings an energy that is both gentle and wild and reminds me of waves crashing quietly onto a beach, a great counterpoint to the rolling lilt of [name_f]Elodie[/name_f].

I like [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Bronwen[/name_f] as I think the mn kind of balances out the light and airy first name. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Maren[/name_f] followed by [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] would round out my top 3.

My favorite from your list is [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Maren[/name_f]. I also really like [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] flows, but I didn’t know how to pronounce [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] until I saw your reply on how it was pronounced.

[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] got my vote – I think it’s just particularly special. [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] is a lovely, bright, lively name, and [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] seems to fit in really nicely with your other combos (in your signature).

I voted for [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]…I really like the way the two names flow together, & [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] is in my signature as one of my favorite names. If I chose from the shortened list, I’d go w/[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], as it also has a really nice flow.

Thank you everyone for all your thoughts! I really do appreciate it and it’s helped me narrow it down a lot
