Hey,I’m looking for some melodic or music-related names for a baby girl.
We think [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] and [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] are both sounds great, which one do you prefer?
Also we want to use [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] as a nickname.

The last name is [name_u]Penn[/name_u],maybe you have some other suggestions, thank you in advance for your answers~!

Elodie is so melodic and beautiful

[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] and [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] are both beautiful !
I slightly prefer [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], which I think is a bit more unique + gives you the cute nickname [name_u]Wyn[/name_u]/Winnie.
However, [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] makes more sense for [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], if you’re planning on using it as more than a pet name. For example, if you’d ever have friends and family members call her [name_f]Birdie[/name_f], and not just you and your partner, I’d do [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]. If not then [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is fine.

I prefer [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] for it elvenesque feel, but [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] is lovely too!
I also like [name_f]Melody[/name_f], [name_u]Lyric[/name_u], [name_f]Sonnet[/name_f].
I think you can call her [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] no matter the name you choose (my parents often call me pet names that aren’t related to my actual name at all)

yes,[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] is actually inspired by [name_f]Melody[/name_f] :star_struck:

I prefer [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], especially with the last name

I love [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] so much! It has such a beautiful sound. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] is fine as well, but [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] has the wow factor for me. I actually really like the rhythm of [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Penn[/name_u].

Elodie is so pretty! I’ve never been too struck by [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], personally.

Normally I would say [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], but in this situation [name_f]Elodie[/name_f].

Elodie makes more sense for the nn [name_f]Birdie[/name_f]…but its a huge stretch.

What about [name_f]Liberty[/name_f] nn [name_f]Birdie[/name_f]?

They’re both great names, but I definitely prefer [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] in this case! I think either option is a stretch for [name_f]Birdie[/name_f], but at least [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] has the same ending (and I don’t mind stretch nicknames–[name_f]Birdie[/name_f] is adorable!). And I much prefer [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] with the surname; [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] seems almost rhyme-y. Not so much that it’s not usable, but I don’t love that flow. Anyway, El0die P3nn “[name_f]Birdie[/name_f]” gets my enthusiastic vote!

I prefer [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] but [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Penn[/name_u] is a bit rhymey so I chose [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] here

I love both! I just can’t decide! I voted [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] because [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Birdie[/name_f]’ [name_u]Penn[/name_u] is gorgeous!
