Oh, I have a terrible name association with [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f]. It was/is the name of a “mean girl” in middle school who bullied me and was quite a b*tch. My mom also, for whatever reason, then and now can not pronounce that name correctly if her life were on the line. It always comes out “Joshlyn” even if you say it to her and have her repeat it. I do not understand why she can not process it correctly.

Regardless of those two negatives, I still think I would vote for [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] because it is a sweet name that has a nice flow to me and I like the nickname [name_f]Elle[/name_f] better.

I love [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]! It’s so sweet and unexpected and also carries a lovely lilting rythm. [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] still feels a little too dated for a revival for me, and with [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] fels a little harsh. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] is beautiful.

I prefer [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], which I think is a lovely name. [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] has never appealed to me for some reason.

I far prefer [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f]. I don’t find [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] very at all

I love [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], but I like it as is and not shortened to [name_f]Elle[/name_f] or [name_f]Edie[/name_f]. I don’t particularly care for [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f], but I love the nn [name_u]Josie[/name_u]. So, I guess if you and DH are nn people, then I would vote for [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] because I like the nn.

Easiest vote I’ve ever done on here. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]!

[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] for sure. I don’t usually like [name_f]El[/name_f]- names very much, but [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] has such an unusual and pretty sound! I like that it’s cute and classy at the same time.

This is a tough one because I really like both names a lot. But I voted for [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]. I like the nickname [name_f]Edie[/name_f] quite a bit and think it pairs best with [name_f]Ruth[/name_f].
