Elodie or Maggie? - Due this weekend

We can’t decide, but have ‘sort of’ narrowed it to two. We do have the middle name Townes and her older sister is [name]Lila[/name] [name]Scout[/name]

[name]Elodie[/name] Townes
[name]Maggie[/name] Townes

i love [name]Maggie[/name] Townes !Sounds lovely with a big sis named [name]Lila[/name] Scoot .As for [name]Elodie[/name] i have never like this name .have you thought any formal names with the nn [name]Maggie[/name] ?

[name]Elodie[/name] Townes

[name]Elodie[/name]. [name]Lovely[/name]. Never really liked [name]Maggie[/name], but it’s reasonable.

[name]Lila[/name] and [name]Maggie[/name] Townes! Never been a big fan of [name]Elodie[/name], but it’s nice enough.

[name]Lila[/name] [name]Scout[/name] and [name]Maggie[/name] Townes are a better fit.

For something similar to [name]Elodie[/name], you might consider [name]Elsa[/name], [name]Elsie[/name], [name]Edie[/name], [name]Evie[/name], or [name]Esme[/name]. [name]Even[/name] [name]Simone[/name] has a similar feel.

I like [name]Lila[/name] [name]Scout[/name] with [name]Esme[/name] Townes, [name]Elsa[/name] Townes, and [name]Evie[/name] Townes best of the above - maybe [name]Eva[/name] Townes nicknamed [name]Evie[/name].

My first reaction was [name]Elodie[/name], because I feel like this name is really growing on me, but when you put [name]Lila[/name] and [name]Elodie[/name] together it sounds like a lot of L.

I think [name]Lila[/name] and [name]Maggie[/name] are adorable together so that would be my vote.

[name]Elodie[/name], [name]Elodie[/name], [name]Elodie[/name] —it’s unusual, interesting, elegant, playful yet formal, it has a nice meaning, and stands well on its own.

[name]Elodie[/name] Townes every time as an individual name, but [name]Maggie[/name] sounds better grouped with the sister’s name. However, I don’t think it’s necessary to “match” siblings names! Let your little girl be her own person, and stand independent from the beginning! [name]Elodie[/name] is beautiful and classy and will carry her through her whole life as a wonderful name for not just a baby girl, but also as a teenager, a young adult and a mature woman.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Elodie[/name] - [name]Maggie[/name] is all abit Simpsons for me…

Ooh, this is a tough one! I like them both but [name]Elodie[/name] is unique and rolls off the tongue, especially since it rhymes with “melody”, so [name]Elodie[/name] gets my vote. Best wishes!

I love [name]Maggie[/name], and I think it would be the better option next to [name]Lila[/name]. I don’t know any Elodies, but I know of an [name]Eloise[/name] (which is close to [name]Elodie[/name])who goes by the nn [name]Lola[/name] and if [name]Elodie[/name] decides to as well or someone uses it for her, [name]Lola[/name] and [name]Lila[/name] is to close. [name]Maggie[/name] would avoid that potential.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Elodie[/name] but [name]Maggie[/name] matches the feel of [name]Lila[/name] [name]Scout[/name] better.

Maggie. No contest. It’s spunky and fun and lush. Elodie is definitely striking, but she would have to go through life saying, “It’s like Melody, but without the M.” And that’s assuming that you’re not going with the French pronunciation, which would add another layer of confusion. (I knew an Elodie who just started signing her name L.O.D.!) And you’d also have to be sure that you would be OK with her going by Ellie or some other nickname, just in case she decides it’s all too much of a hassle. Don’t underestimate the beauty of having an easily pronounceable name! (Like the wonderful Maggie.)

[name]Elodie[/name], but I would vote for [name]Margaret[/name] nn [name]Maggie[/name] over [name]Elodie[/name].

[name]Elodie[/name] is definitely my favorite of the two. [name]Maggie[/name] is cute but I like better as a nickname.

I prefer [name]Elodie[/name] completely, I just think it is such a lovely name. But to go with [name]Lila[/name], I think [name]Maggie[/name] works better; which is also a really cute name.

I prefer [name]Elodie[/name]

Definately [name]Elodie[/name]. It’s such a beautiful name!

I have always loved the name [name]Maggie[/name] so that’s my choice.
