Eloise, Sylvie and Ramona or Edith?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone!

We’re expecting our third girl in a couple months. Our older daughters are [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f].

We have pretty much narrowed it down to [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] (nn. [name_u]Romy[/name_u]) [name_u]June[/name_u] or [name_f]Edith[/name_f] (nn. [name_f]Edie[/name_f]) [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].

Honest opinions please! [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_f]Edith[/name_f] and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] are too matchy and nn. [name_f]Edie[/name_f] too matchy with [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]? Wdyt of the name [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]?

Thanks in advance!

I prefer [name_f]Edith[/name_f]. People are loving [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] now, but I just can’t warm to it; it feels dated, like [name_f]Rhonda[/name_f] or [name_f]Brenda[/name_f] to me. However, I’m willing to bet my opinion will change when I meet a little [name_f]Ramona[/name_f].

I don’t find [name_f]Edith[/name_f]/[name_u]Eloise[/name_u] or [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]/[name_f]Edie[/name_f] too matchy.

Your daughters’ names are gorgeous, and both [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and [name_f]Edith[/name_f] fit perfectly in the sibset. You can’t go wrong with either!

Absolutely [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]!

I like both [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and [name_f]Edith[/name_f] very much and feel both would work with the sibs. Also love [name_u]Romy[/name_u] and [name_f]Edie[/name_f]!

I’d choose [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] for 2 reasons: to avoid the 2 ‘E’ beginnings and because I really dislike [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].

[name_f]Ramona[/name_f] fits [name_m]WAY[/name_m] better although i personally prefer [name_f]Edith[/name_f]. [name_u]Romy[/name_u] is such a cute nn!

Your daughters have beautiful names. I currently have a major crush on [name_f]Edith[/name_f], so that gets my vote. I really don’t think it is too similar to the sister names. I strongly associated [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] with the [name_f]Beverly[/name_f] [name_m]Cleary[/name_m] novels, so I have never really cared for [name_f]Ramona[/name_f].

[name_f]Edith[/name_f] goes better, but I adore both name. [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] & [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] are both just beautiful and they compliment each other wonderfully!

I absolutely adore [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]!!

What gorgeous names you’ve chosen for all your children! I love both options, but with [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] I think [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] is definitely the best. Flows so nicely, and sound more different to [name_u]Eloise[/name_u].

I hate the name [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]! I think it’s very old-fashioned and chunky. [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and [name_f]Edith[/name_f] on the other hand go perfectly well together as they are all beautiful vintage names with a very feminine sound. So my vote goes to [name_f]Edith[/name_f]!

[name_f]Ramona[/name_f]!! Such a gorgeous name, although I may be biased because I know a lovely one. To me [name_f]Edith[/name_f] sounds almost too bland with sister names [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], it lacks the sparkle that the other names have.

My preference is [name_f]Edith[/name_f], I think it’s beautiful. But you really can’t go wrong with either. Great ideas!

Both are lovely but I prefer [name_f]Edith[/name_f]

[name_f]Ramona[/name_f] all the way!

[name_u]Eloise[/name_u], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], and [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]!

I really adore [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and it sounds so perfect in this set. I don’t think [name_f]Edith[/name_f]/[name_f]Edie[/name_f] is too close to the others, but there are some similarities there so I’d avoid the issue and go with fabulous [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]!

I prefer [name_f]Ramona[/name_f], simply because I like each child to have their own syllable hahaha. Maybe I’m weird like that. But they are both beautiful choices!

I love [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]! I think [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] fits in great with [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f]. Nickname [name_u]Romy[/name_u] is cute too!

I love your girls’ names! I vote for [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] but [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is very sweet too.

[name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]! Your girls’ names are lovely.
