Firstly, they’re both very nice. And secondly, they both have some phonetic problems with your surname. Not insurmountable ones, to be sure, but still there.

[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] Leeber has trouble in that the last syllable -line basically repeats itself in the first syllable [name_u]Lee[/name_u]-.

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] Leeber repeats the -ee- vowel, and is very L-heavy in general.

I also very much prefer [name_f]Blythe[/name_f], which I think it uplifitng and elegant and uncommon, to [name_u]Wren[/name_u], which is very hipster imo.

I voted for [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], as I think it sounds much better with Leeber, but would really like [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f].

I chose [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f], because I think [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is fresh but isn’t too foreign or modern. And I just love [name_f]Blythe[/name_f].

I will add that your last name isn’t really doing you any favors in the naming process. But then again, it could be a whole lot worse.

I love [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]!

I like both [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], so the MNs have decided it for me–I want to appreciate [name_f]Blythe[/name_f], but can’t get into it, and I love [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] as a combo! I like both [name_f]Ella[/name_f]/[name_f]Elle[/name_f]/[name_f]Lola[/name_f]/[name_u]Lou[/name_u]/[name_f]Lulu[/name_f] and [name_f]Eva[/name_f]/[name_f]Evie[/name_f], and the full [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], but even if I might have preferred [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] (which I went in, thinking I would), I just can’t get into [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] enough to get over my love for [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]! Seriously, such a perfect combo. I think [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] sounds fine with your surname, too.

Good luck!

I like [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] as a first name better but [name_u]Wren[/name_u] as a middle name better.

Thanks for the comments! I know my last name doesnt help any of the names but the names I love have the “L” in it so its something ill have to get over. I love the input you all are giving me though thank you so much.

OMgoodness!! Both are gorgeous…I chose [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] only because I love that name combo…but I also equally love [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] (just not [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] as much in that name combo). However, both [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] are great choices…but in my final estimation my FN pick would be [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f].

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]!

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] is far nicer than [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], and [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] is just horrible! [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is one of my favourite middle name choices, and sounds perfect with [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]!

I think you’re really onto a winner here

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]. Gorgeous.

I think that [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] is understated and elegant, a choice not likely to just blend in with all the other Ellies and Evies out there. If rearranging the names is in consideration, I would choose [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] Leeber as having the most appealing overall sound and “flow.”

If [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] are definitely the finalists for first place, I think that [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] is more attractive with Leeber. For the middle I would consider a two- or three-syllable name, because one-syllable [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] both make the combo sound a little bit awkward. For example, [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] Leeber sounds flowy and pretty, while [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] Leeber or [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] Leeber feel choppy to me.

Good luck deciding!

Thank you for the comment I’ll consider what you’ve said about a longer middle.

It would be a lot of L’s in one name, but having seen it written down, I love [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] - actually much more than your other combos! Very elegant, and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] with nickname [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] plays well with both the Eleanors, [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]'s, Hazels, Hatties, etc. that are coming back around and the [name_f]Ava[/name_f], [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], [name_f]Adelyn[/name_f] trend. I don’t know if combining them is an option, but I think it could work if you wanted it to.

The combo [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] is actually one of my all-time favorites, like I’ve SERIOUSLY considered using it for a child’s name or even my own pen name, I love it so much! It’s on my SERIOUS list.

But, that being said, I think [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] Leeber / [name_f]Elle[/name_f] Leeber sounds better?
