I love both names too! I’d like them together: [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] / [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]. Still trying to decide which combo I prefer for the poll!
I prefer [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] for a first name, but much prefer the flow and look of [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. The spelling of [name_f]Elouise[/name_f] is a negative for me. The ‘u’ seems unnecessary to me and makes a stylish name look dowdy.
This exactly ^^^^^^
Prefer Cordelia Elouise… I love Cordelia but I’m always hesitant about the Cor- names because I hate the nickname Cory/Cori/Corey with all of my heart for a girl… guess there’s nothing you can do to stop her from being called that. Both combinations have the pretty El sound in them. I agree that the ‘U’ in Eloise is not needed.
Elowen sounds too hip and trendy even if it isn’t, ( but has a beautiful meaning ) and Rosalie makes me think of Twilight. Both names have 100 names that sound similar to them… Ex: Eliza, Elody, Ellery, Eleanor/Ellie, Ella, Elliott, Elle, Ellar, Ellen, Elena, etc. Ex 2: Rose, Rosa, Rosanna, Rosalind/a, Rosamund, Rosy, etc.
My favorite combo out of your names would be Delia Elowen. (I’d take out the Cor.)
