[name]Hi[/name],
I have been thinking about this name for a while now but Im not really sure whether I pronouncing it right. Im saying it like [name]Ell[/name]-uh-wyn. Is this right?
What are your thoughts on this name? What sorts of names should it be paired with?

I like [name]Elowen[/name]. It’s an uncommon way to get [name]Ella[/name] or [name]Ellie[/name] as a nickname, but has substance in its full glory. It would fit right in with Welsh imports like [name]Bronwen[/name] and [name]Anwen[/name]. It should probably have more common names as a middle- classic would also work.
I think [name]Elowen[/name] is pronounced differently in the UK, or possibly sounds different because of the accent.
I think the common Welsh pronunciation is el-LOH-en, but in [name]North[/name] [name]America[/name] it is usually [name]EL[/name]-oh-wen.
I pronounce it [name]El[/name]-oh-wen. It is one of my top 3 names for my next if it is a girl!
Gorgeous!! I’ve never heard this name before but it reminds me of all the pretty [name]Lord[/name] of the Rings character names like [name]Arwen[/name] and [name]Eowyn[/name]!
This is a newer favorite of mine, and I pronounce it like pps do: [name]EL[/name]-oh-wen. I find it pretty and feminine without being girly-girl frilly.
