[name_f]Elsbeth[/name_f] is my choice.

Definitely [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f]! It’s a beautiful name. Not such a fan of [name_f]Elsbeth[/name_f] — it sounds blunter and heavier to me, and a bit like an awkward smoosh name as @adelina said.

[name_f]Elspeth[/name_f]!! It just has such a magical little feel to it. It also feels distinctly like its own name where as [name_f]Elsbeth[/name_f] looks like [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] but missing half of its vowels.

I love [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f]. One of my long-time favourite names dating back to childhood.

I prefer [name_f]Elsbeth[/name_f]. [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f] sounds like you are talking with a lisp.

Thank you all for your replies and opinions

[name_f]Elspeth[/name_f] feels like a name to me, but [name_f]Elsbeth[/name_f] feels like a childhood nickname given to an [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] by a sibling who couldn’t fully pronounce the name. Not sure why, maybe I’m just way more accustomed to [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f], but that’s my first impression.

@yellowplums Thank you for your reply  I see what you mean about [name_f]Elsbeth[/name_f].

I absolutely adore [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f]! I find [name_f]Elsbeth[/name_f] almost difficult to say.
