When I say the name and try not to associate it with THE [name]Elvis[/name], it is actually a pretty cool name. But [name]IMO[/name], it is just not a name that a child (or adult) can carry easily.
My husband was almost named [name]Elvis[/name], and I told his mother that I am SO thankful that she decided against it- I just can’t imagine he would have been taken seriously.

I think it would be great as a middle name!

[name]Elvis[/name] is just one of those names to me that shouldn’t be used. If you want to honor him how about [name]Presley[/name] as a name. I would stay away from [name]Elvis[/name] because its too close to the the rockstar and its just not a style of name that should be reincarnated.

Ok. Well thank you. [name]Elvis[/name] is really not my style at all so I’m kinda glad it came back negative. Right now I’m trying to sell him on [name]Asher[/name] [name]Gabriel[/name] if we have another boy.

I actually love the name [name]Elvis[/name]. But I don’t really like [name]Elvis[/name] [name]Presley[/name]'s music that much. I think its a cool name.

My sausage dog is called [name]Elvis[/name]… I love this name, but don’t think DH would have let me save it for a child! x x x

I would love to meet a little [name]Elvis[/name]! I think it’s totally usable although it is a little more exotic than your first two son’s names.

I’m also reminded of [name]Elvis[/name] Costello, but I think the name may sound a little costumey.

My niece’s name is [name]Presley[/name]. It’s unisex, but I like it even more for a boy. What about just [name]Presley[/name]?

I absolutely love both [name]Asher[/name] [name]Gabriel[/name] and [name]Elijah[/name] [name]Michael[/name]! Very classic and handsome choices.

As for [name]Elvis[/name]”I wouldn’t want it to be my name, my husband’s name, or my son’s name, so my vote is no. But [name]Presley[/name] would be a lovely choice, and I agree that, although unisex, it seems to make a better name for a boy.

Hey! I like [name]Elvis[/name], but I don’t like it as part of a sibset with [name]Elijah[/name]. [name]IMO[/name] they are completely different stylistically. But apart from that, I reckon it’s an awesome name, especially if your hubby is an [name]Elvis[/name] fan.

You mentioned that you also liked the name [name]Ethan[/name] - some other E names:

[name]Eamonn[/name]
[name]Edmond[/name]/[name]Edmund[/name]
[name]Edward[/name]
[name]Ephraim[/name]
[name]Elliot[/name]
[name]Emmanuel[/name]
[name]Emmett[/name]
[name]Enoch[/name]
[name]Ezekiel[/name]
[name]Evan[/name]
[name]Everett[/name]

Good luck!!

I’d say [name]Elvis[/name] is a no-go, unless you want to pick up a new pet and name him [name]Elvis[/name]. Totally cool for a pet!

I do love [name]Presley[/name] as a middle name, though, and you could do a lot with that! [name]Do[/name] you like Biblical names, or was [name]Elijah[/name] [name]Michael[/name] just something you both loved? And, is another E name necessary? If not, you may like something along the lines of [name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Presley[/name] - [name]Eli[/name] and [name]Gabe[/name]? - [name]Matthew[/name] [name]Presley[/name] - [name]Eli[/name] and [name]Matt[/name]? - or even [name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Presley[/name] - [name]Eli[/name] and [name]Nate[/name]? - for your new son! If an E name is something you want to continue, something like [name]Ephraim[/name] [name]Presley[/name] would be an offbeat, fun choice for [name]Elijah[/name]'s little brother…
