Elyssa is now Eliana Beatrice thx Berries!

Thank you to all the berries who posted regarding the first name change of my daughter. I was truly unhappy with the name we settled on and now I love her name. Wish we had chosen it initially but by the time we found it Hubby was done discussing names,(I had a really hard time naming her) so we went with [name]Elyssa[/name] since it was the only one we agreed on. It has been an easy switch for us all and I encourage anyone who feels baby name remorse to consider changing it and not care what others will think. My daughter is almost 11 mos old and she is answering to [name]Eliana[/name] after 1 week of the name change and big brother (3) calls her [name]Eliana[/name] 80% of the time and [name]Lyssa[/name] the other times. He’s certainly not traumatized

[name]Hi[/name] [name]Shoshana[/name], I’m glad that you’ve found a name that makes you happy! [name]Eliana[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name] is very pretty! Your story just goes to show that name remorse can be rectified in a positive way! All the best to you and your family, [name]Mischa[/name].

here here. from another name changer!

Congrats! Beautiful name!

[name]Hi[/name] [name]Just[/name] discovered this forum! this may sound strange as we should’ve thought of it MUCH earlier but we named our now 2 year old daughter [name]Emma[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] with the surname being 2 words beginning with V and L. I opened up a bank account for her the other day and realised her initials without her middle name is EVL. I feel terrible and am trying to find a solution. I have thought about adding a shorter first name and keeping the emma [name]Josephine[/name] but wow it would be so long. I really love her name but don’t want her to be teased about her initials. Am I stressing over nothing?

I had to think for a minute about EVL. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about, and [name]Emma[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] is very pretty. If it bothers her later she’ll just have her initials as EJVL.

[name]Glad[/name] you found a name you love and that the transition was an easy one!
