So this name popped into my mind today for a possible future daughter. Thought it would compliment my name (Amber) and also honor big sister who is a May baby. Trying to figure out middle names. This is what I have come up with so far! Also curious about what others would pair with it? I’m really loving A and F names for some reason.
[name_f]Emerald[/name_f] is such a bright sparkly name with this majestic almost bewitching feel she’s gorgeous and was on my list for a period of time. I can completely see the appeal in beautiful [name_f]Emerald[/name_f].
I think middle name wise I would avoid word names I think [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] [name_u]Fern[/name_u] feels to descriptive like your describing the colour of the plant. With [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f] I think it’s a bit cheesy. [name_f]My[/name_f] favourites are [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] she definitely has the right sound very striking or [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] which is fun and friendly. I prefer the drama of [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] she’s so dreamy
I really like how [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] repeats the d- sound in both names, and I find [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] a strong and grounding counterpart for sparkling [name_f]Emerald[/name_f].
Super cute and love [name_f]Emi[/name_f] as a nn! I voted for [name_f]Faith[/name_f], I just felt like that a one syllable fit better. Honestly, any of your options would work perfectly though!
I really like [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]!
Honestly it’s not normally my style either Usually I like Hebrew names and traditional names. So my recent draw to the name has caught me by surprise.
I love [name_f]Emerald[/name_f]! It’s such a pretty, regal gem name but has [name_f]Em[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] readily available as easy nicknames. I would have it on my list if my husband’s surname didn’t also end in “-ald”.
I really like [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]! [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] works too, I just personally prefer [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]. I would stay away from other [name_f]English[/name_f] word names as Emerald’s middle name.
[name_f]My[/name_f] sister is [name_f]Sapphire[/name_f] and we have a cousin [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f]. A close friend of mine named her baby [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]. I’d say [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] is next on the list for someone near me to use haha.
I think it’s a pretty wearable option with great nick name potential. [name_f]Emi[/name_f] [name_f]Em[/name_f] [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_u]Merry[/name_u] are all super cute and work well.
I think it’s best not to pair it with a word name unless it’s not a noun, like [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] would be okay but [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] [name_u]Fern[/name_u] is a bit too “green”. Your elegant [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] works perfectly.
I like; [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] [name_f]Calliope[/name_f], [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]
