Thoughts on [name_f]Emerald[/name_f]? What kind of person is she? Aesthetic? Does she work with my sibset (Benton [name_m]Grover[/name_m], [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_u]Raven[/name_u] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] Ann)? I had my first ever reiki session yesterday and I’ve been obsessively thinking about this name since because of something that occurred during the session. Also, [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] has been on my list for a while now for a boy and after the session the practitioner had me choose a stone from a bunch of different ones and I chose a jasper without knowing that’s what it was. Now I’m like I need b/g twins named [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] and [name_u]Jasper[/name_u]. Thoughts?
[name_f]Emerald[/name_f] is a lovely name - I like a lot of the ‘gem’ names, and this one’s no exception. It’s bold and vibrant, but also familiar and friendly; it’s got style but warmth too.
[name_u]Jasper[/name_u] and [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] are cute! And I like [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] with your set
I love [name_f]Emerald[/name_f]! It brings me such joy – she ranks high on my own list, too – to see someone like her as well. [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] is spirited, independent and polished.
I did think of [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] & [name_u]Jasper[/name_u], the most obvious sibset anyone could make, as well as [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] & [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] but let go of both of them since they were so matchy. You’d be good with [name_f]Emerald[/name_f]!
[name_f]Emerald[/name_f] is gorgeous
Honestly I really love gemstone names but in particular [name_f]Emerald[/name_f]. She’s just beautiful! [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] is so outdoorsy, bright, colourful, spirited, has the adorable nickname [name_f]Emmy[/name_f], has tons of springtime imagery and feels so majestic. I also think [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] is a perfect way to pay tribute to [name_u]Ireland[/name_u] which is why she’s on my list I have the name [name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] a combination I love dearly. I would imagine [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] to be artistic and care free with long curly red hair, petite frame with tons of freckles. I think people would consider [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] to be aloof as she lives a life that is off the grid but ultimately she’s a lover of people but wants a slower pace. I think [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] fits perfectly with your kiddos names and would make a wonderful twin sister to [name_u]Jasper[/name_u].
Is it [name_f]Em[/name_f] rald or em er rald
Its ok, i find it cheesy
[name_u]Jasper[/name_u] and
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_f]Gracie[/name_f]
[name_u]Ivy[/name_u]
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f]
[name_f]My[/name_f] cousin is named [name_f]Emerald[/name_f], with sibs t0panga, 3dward, and d!amand. People were very mean about her name (born in the 2000s). HOWEVER, I think they were ahead of their time, and I think those names are super cool! Tons of nicknames and I think it fits super well!
@Babynamequeen029 The cheese factor is what I was wondering about. Here in the US [name_f]Crystal[/name_f] was fairly popular in the 80s and it’s kinda taken on a cheap feeling. I don’t know how to put it nicely. I know lots of lovely Crystals, but the name itself almost feels like it’s trying to hard. I was wondering if [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] would end up feeling the same way. But [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] doesn’t have that problem I don’t think. It’s vintage and cute though.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] my comment didnt offend u. I think emerald is nice, just not for me.
No, not offended at all. I wanted honest opinions on how others perceived the name. I appreciate your comments.
[name_f]Emerald[/name_f] and [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] are lovely!
I want to like it but when I say it I hear [name_m]Emeril[/name_m] like the chef.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] love [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] though!
@seawillow thank you I’ve been working on my names had a lot of changes need to really post them so I can get berry feedback
I like [name_f]Emerald[/name_f], I actually know a 11-year old boy named [name_f]Emerald[/name_f]! I do think it’s a ‘heavy’ name for some reason but if you’d pair it with a lighter name, maybe [name_f]Lila[/name_f] or [name_f]Margot[/name_f], it would feel more balanced in my opinion.
[name_f]Emerald[/name_f] goes really well with your sibset, especially with [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_u]Raven[/name_u] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f]!
