I posted about my final 6 names, and now thanks to everyone’s honest opinions, DH and I think we have it down to the final 3!
We both think [name]Emilia[/name] is beautiful and love the NN options ([name]Em[/name], [name]Emmy[/name], [name]Mia[/name]), but we are just worried that it will constantly be mispronounced, spelled incorrectly, etc.
DH also loves both [name]Mia[/name] and [name]Emma[/name] and thinks it may just be easier to use one of them to avoid spelling and pronunciation mishaps. For all 3 names the MN would be [name]Josephine[/name].
So, what do you think, [name]Emilia[/name], [name]Mia[/name], or [name]Emma[/name]? Thank you so much!
Why not choose [name]Emilia[/name] and give her the nn [name]Emma[/name] or [name]Mia[/name]? [name]Emma[/name] and [name]Mia[/name] would be the “safer” choices as first names but I’m loving [name]Emilia[/name] so I’m feeling more adventurous!
I like [name]Emilia[/name]. It’s the best of both worlds, imo–she could be [name]Mia[/name], [name]Emma[/name], [name]Emilia[/name], [name]Em[/name], [name]Emmy[/name], etc., or even [name]Lily[/name], [name]Millie[/name], or [name]Lia[/name]!–and [name]Emilia[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] is just stunning. I love it.
[name]Emma[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] would be my second choice… I really do love [name]Emma[/name], but [name]Emilia[/name] is a tad bit more refreshing to me.
[name]Even[/name] the most simple names like [name]Anna[/name] are misspelled and mispronounce nowadays and with so many different spelling variations around today, most people I know just go ahead and ask how to spell most everyone’s name.
[name]Emilia[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] – I love this one for you. It has all the nicknames you love and is special to you
Thank you so much everyone! That’s a great point about simple names even being misspelled. I’m also glad to see that everyone likes [name]Emilia[/name] the best…we are definitely leaning in that direction right now!
