To me, she’s not Emily (EHM-uh-LEE). She’s uh-MEEL-ee. I got it from the movie “Leap”. What are your thoughts?

Honestly, I would pronounce it the same as Emily! Nevertheless, it’s a very sweet name! I think she’s really pretty.

I think of it like [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], if the emphasis weren’t on the first syllable. It’s a really pretty name!

I love your pronunciation of [name_f]Emilie[/name_f], but I know an [name_f]Emilie[/name_f] who says her name like [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and I think that would be the most common pronunciation for a lot of people as well. It’s very pretty though!!

i know an emilie, but it’s pronounced the same as emily so that’s what i would assume when i read it. that pronunciation (uh-MEEL-ee) is lovely though!

I like it well enough. It might get confused with [name_f]Emily[/name_f], but that’s just a simple correction. I could see you using it.

I don’t love Em- names in general and while this is superior to [name_f]Emily[/name_f], the sound is just unappealing to me.
