Emily Haddyr Victoria

I named her after [name]Emily[/name] [name]Bronte[/name]
Haddyr is the medieval word for the [name]Heather[/name] plant
and [name]Victoria[/name] is for [name]Queen[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]!

Haddyr isn’t listed in nameberry yet. In fact, I found it in an old out-of-print dictionary looking for an alternative to [name]Heather[/name]. I love the plant but the name is too modern for my old fashioned gal!

how to you pronounce Haddyr?

What a pretty name!

Congrats.

[name]Sarah[/name]

[name]How[/name] pretty! I love [name]Emily[/name] Haddyr (HAD-er?) [name]Victoria[/name]. What a pretty, classic, lovely name.

All the best!

Very nice name! Congrats! But how do you pronounce Haddyr? Very interesting choice!

Beautiful!

Haddyr reminds me of the elf Haldir in [name]Lord[/name] of the Rings. [name]Lovely[/name]!

Hadder rhymes with hatter as in the Mad Hatter. I am so glad everyone likes it. The was another version of it - Haedre. Thought that was interesting but like Hadder better. It is a medieval version so I knew it would be unique. I always get compliments or strange looks - but she’ll probably never meet another person with Haddyr in their name!

Congrats on the birth of [name]Emily[/name] Haddyr [name]Victoria[/name]! I’m sure she’ll appreciated all of the careful thought that went into naming her!

Congratulations, thanks for the explanation, I was wondering when I saw Haddyr.
