Emily or Annabelle to go with Charlotte?

I’m struggling between [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] for [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]’s sister’s name…

I think [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is elegant, classy, classic and timeless, with beautiful and sweet pronunciation. I decided to use this name without any hesitation at that time.

Which pair is the most matching to [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], matching maybe in terms of whether they both share similar feeling (elegant, classy, classic and timeless), how they sound together, etc., I don’t know…

And as well as looking at the two names individually, [name_f]Emily[/name_f] vs. [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], which one would be more preferable?

Any thoughts would be highly appreciated! Thanks all!

I think [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]

I agree that [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is the perfect match for [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]'s sister. This pairing feels quite regal to me.

[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]. I think it’s beautiful and elegant!
While [name_f]Emily[/name_f] is definitely a classic at the moment it does feel pretty 2000s/90s since it was so extremely popular back then. I don’t think it’d ever go out of style, but right now it feels a bit overdone.

[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] for sure! [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] both have a very southern belle feel to them!

I think both names work well with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] (and feel classic, beautiful, and sweet) so you can’t go wrong, but I personally prefer [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]. As others have pointed out, [name_f]Emily[/name_f] had a (long) moment so [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] feels a bit more fresh.

Very much appreciate your comments, but it’s really tough to make a decision!

Both work really well with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] as they have sweet, “proper” vibes to them. [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] seem like a perfect, almost predictable match, partly because [name_f]Emily[/name_f] is a very popular name and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is very trendy. [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] fits the style of [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] but is slightly more surprising, in a good way. I am also biased toward nn [name_f]Belle[/name_f] because I am loving it so much lately. I should mention I’m in the US so that affects my view of these pairings. Really you can’t go wrong with either.

Thank you! Any more opinions? This is really tough!

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]! I have a soft spot for [name_f]Emily[/name_f] for personal reasons, but [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] has a bit more flair and is more uncommon.

I prefer [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]. I like the similar length and double letters in both. They just look fantastic together.

Definitely [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] go perfectly together in my opinion.

Would you consider [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]? She could still use the nickname [name_f]Emily[/name_f] ([name_f]Emilie[/name_f]) or the option of [name_f]Milly[/name_f], [name_f]Mia[/name_f], [name_f]Lia[/name_f], [name_f]Emi[/name_f]. It’s a little unexpected and gives more options for nicknames if she chooses.
