I’m struggling between [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] for [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]’s sister’s name…
I think [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is elegant, classy, classic and timeless, with beautiful and sweet pronunciation. I decided to use this name without any hesitation at that time.
Which pair is the most matching to [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], matching maybe in terms of whether they both share similar feeling (elegant, classy, classic and timeless), how they sound together, etc., I don’t know…
And as well as looking at the names individually (not in a pair with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]), [name_f]Emily[/name_f] vs. [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], which one would be more preferable?
Any thoughts would be highly appreciated! Thanks all!
Tough one, especially as all these names mesh well for me due to the Brontë sister associate ([name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Anne[/name_f] Brontë- and they also used [name_u]Bell[/name_u] as an alias surname!)
I think I like [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] best here! It has lenght and elegance
I think both [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] share the same classic, elegant feel as [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. [name_f]Emily[/name_f] feels slightly more of a classic to me though. They are both nice sisters to [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. I do think my vote will go to [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] though.
This is a tough one, they are both really nice. I think I’ll say [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] though, I like how the length matches [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. But you really can’t go wrong with either one.
My favourite is [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] out of the two names I find [name_f]Emily[/name_f] slightly dated would prefer [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]. [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is pretty, elegant and has a range of gorgeous nicknames. Prefer spelling [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] though.
I prefer [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], though I think [name_f]Emily[/name_f] is possibly a better fit with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] in terms of style and popularity. [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is a lot less common, and less consistently popular.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] together! I think it fits better with the stye of [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]. [name_f]Emily[/name_f] is a classic but has been in the top 10 since 1991 (in the US) so feels a little bit like it belongs in the last generation.
I vote [name_f]Emily[/name_f]. It’s fairly common but for good reason: it’s beautiful, elegant and in my opinion, timeless. I love [name_f]Emily[/name_f] on its own and paired with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].
I definitely prefer [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] – with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and on its own. I think it’s such a beautiful and elegant name (especially this spelling) and has a similar feel to [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. [name_f]Emily[/name_f] is overused where I live.
I like [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Emily[/name_f]! I would put [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] first since it matches [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] in length, but really either sounds good because [name_f]Emily[/name_f] although fewer letters still has the same syllables.
[name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] are sisters in the TV show Revenge. I don’t think it was so popular that it should tip the balance either way but I thought it may be interesting that there is a sib set of that name in pop culture.
