Emma or Emmy?

Which name do you prefer? ([name_f]Emmy[/name_f] would be a full name, not a nickname)

Emma! I think it’s such a sweet name, it’s definitely on the popular side but for good reason :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Not a big fan of [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] as a stand-alone if I’m honest, just doesn’t feel as substantial for an adult

Emma then she could pick [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] if she liked. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_f]Emmaliese[/name_f] or Emmamieke which gives her more nn options.

Totally [name_f]Emma[/name_f]! I love [name_f]Emma[/name_f] :sparkling_heart: It means universal, and it has the most beautiful, soft and warm sound. It’s popular for a reason

Emma nn [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]! I know three adult Emmys and can honestly say I never gave it a second thought. They’re extremely successful and well-off, but it’s nice to have something to fall back on, so I think [name_f]Emma[/name_f] with the nn [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] is the best of both worlds! :earth_asia: :star2:

I would say [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]. There are enough where people would know the difference. And it’s not childish where it won’t age well.

Emma

I prefer the sweet [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]

i prefer emma. it’s such a gorgeous, classic name

i love emmy! x

Emma nn [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] for me! I usually love nickname names, but [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] feels a little too cutesy as a full name for my liking, but it’s nice as a nickname.

I prefer [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] . I think its complete enough to be standalone

I prefer [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] as a stand alone if you prefer it to [name_f]Emma[/name_f].

I prefer the sound of [name_f]Emmy[/name_f], and I think it would wear well on an adult, but I still like [name_f]Emma[/name_f] better as a full name.

Emma for me. [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] feels too cutesy as a stand a lone name in my personal opinion. [name_f]Emma[/name_f] feels more refined and classic and would probably date less.

Emma, it’s just nice and classic (and a really nice shade of green) while [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]’s a little brighter and less of a stand alone to me.

Emma seems to have longevity beyond the little girl years, and you could still use the nn [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] as long as you wanted. [name_f]Emma[/name_f] is timeless. Seems like a win-win!

Emma! You could call her [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] sometime too.

I really love [name_f]Emma[/name_f]! It’s gentle, warm, simple, and friendly. [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] is sweet, but it doesn’t appeal to me as much as [name_f]Emma[/name_f].

Emma is preferable as a standalone name in my opinion.
