Emory, Emery, or Emrys?

What do you prefer: [name_u]Emory[/name_u], [name_u]Emery[/name_u], or [name_m]Emrys[/name_m]? It’s for a male character. He is very studious, an extremely rigorous rule-follower, but kind and brave- at least, inwardly. (Explanation: is normally kind of anxious, but can be brave) Or maybe a different name? (He’s the “sidekick” to [name_u]Percy[/name_u](previous post))

Emery! [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] is cool too!

I have to go for [name_u]Emery[/name_u]! (I’m biased, since he’s the protagonist in my children’s stories!) It’s just so sweet! For a character, I would avoid [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] since the [name_m]King[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] association is so strong.
