Dreaming of future names: [name_f]Do[/name_f] you prefer [name_u]Linden[/name_u] or [name_u]Lindon[/name_u]?
I love the nature aspect of [name_u]Linden[/name_u] and the Tolkien connection of [name_u]Lindon[/name_u]. Middle would be [name_u]Blue[/name_u].
I love love love the Tolkien aspect but I worry that it’s too close to [name_u]London[/name_u] or would be misread or misspelled as [name_u]London[/name_u] often.
***If you hate/dislike both that’s fine, I’m just looking at spelling differences, not if the name is received well atm or if you prefer it for a girl ****
I’m unaware of the Tolkien connection with [name_u]Lindon[/name_u], so to me it’s just another surname-y, presidential-y, 2-syllable, n-ending boys’ name.
[name_u]Linden[/name_u] feels much lighter and brighter to me, and conjures up lovely fresh imagery of green, tree-lined streets.
Thank you everyone for the feedback! -en is my preferred spelling as well. Guess I’ll have to hunt another name down for my desired Tolkien connection ”
