My best friend and her husband are expecting their first baby, a girl, together! Her husband is Italian on both sides of his family, and she is English, and she’s said she’d like to honour both heritages. I’ve been appointed as godmother, and, the first duty I was given, was to help with a name. I’m entirely stuck!
What are some English sounding 1st names that pair up nicely with an Italian/Latin middle name? Name combos are welcome, hahah! So far I have;
I am not very familiar with Italian names, but let me see…
[name]Poppy[/name] [name]Adelina[/name]
[name]Grace[/name] [name]Luciana[/name]
[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Bianca[/name]
[name]Autumn[/name] [name]Giovanna[/name]
[name]Tess[/name] [name]Viviana[/name]
[name]Abigail[/name] [name]Marissa[/name]
[name]Olive[/name] [name]Gianna[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Adrianna[/name]
[name]Ruby[/name] [name]Elizabetta[/name]
[name]Just[/name] random ones:)
In all of the Italian families I know, there is a big tradition of naming after relatives. I am not sure of the rules on this, but I would first check with the Italian husband to see if there are family names that need to be used before searching for new possibilities.
I love italian names my favourites are: [name]Alessandra[/name], [name]Alessa[/name], [name]Elena[/name], [name]Giada[/name], [name]Chiara[/name], [name]Elisabetta[/name], [name]Gabriela[/name], [name]Adriana[/name], [name]Valencia[/name], [name]Aurora[/name].
