Thoughts on [name]Colette[/name] nn [name]Etty[/name] as a sibling for [name]Lucia[/name] ([name]Lou[/name]-sha)???
I am crushing on this today!
[name]Love[/name] [name]Colette[/name]. Beautiful w/ [name]Lucia[/name] too.
You have had the perfect epiphany because [name]Colette[/name] fits amazingly with [name]Lucia[/name]!
[name]Love[/name] colette!!!
Yes-- [name]Lucia[/name] and [name]Colette[/name] are a lovely sibset!
It definitely is a nice fit. [name]Lucia[/name] and [name]Colette[/name].
[name]Colette[/name] is a gorgeous French name that goes great with [name]Lucia[/name].
[name]Colette[/name] is not my cup of tea. It is a common middle aged named where I live. I know several Colettes and they are all between 35 and 65. It just seems plain and common to me.
I love [name]Colette[/name] and would never want to shorten it! But I will admit I am also not a big fan of [name]Etty[/name]…maybe it would be a cute once-in-a-while nickname…[name]Colette[/name] is just perfect on its own, though. I love it with [name]Lucia[/name], too!
[name]Colette[/name] and [name]Lucia[/name] are gorgeous together! truthfully not a big fan of [name]Etty[/name], I prefer [name]Collie[/name] or something. I also love your pronunciation of [name]Lucia[/name], it’s my favourite way to say it.
Perfect with [name]Lucia[/name]. I don’t like [name]Etty[/name] though, maybe if it was spelled [name]Ettie[/name], but I prefer [name]Etta[/name]. Of course, I would rather just [name]Colette[/name] on its own! [name]Lovely[/name]!
[name]Love[/name] it! I have long loved this name. It was my “French name” for 4 years in high school french class. I only know one and she is actually Irish, strangely enough. Perfect with [name]Lucia[/name] too. Great epiphany. I hope it works out and you use it because those names are meant to be sisters! I, too, however, am not a fan of [name]Etty[/name], but mostly because [name]Colette[/name] is so gorgeous that it seems a shame to shorten it to anything. Good luck!
I met a [name]Colette[/name] 2 years ago and that was the first time I had heard that name but I LOVED it! Your two names go really well together.
[name]Lucia[/name] and [name]Colette[/name] go together beautifully!! I [name]LOVE[/name] them both. I think [name]Etty[/name] is really cute, and [name]Colette[/name] could always be used more when she gets older.
@ catheyc I also know a [name]Colette[/name] of Irish descent lol!
And my friend [name]Colette[/name]'s favorite name is [name]Luca[/name], strange coincidence, haha.
[name]Colette[/name] goes great with [name]Lucia[/name], both are exotic sounding with a hint of classical to them.
Yes to [name]Colette[/name] !!
I like that it’s known yet surprising.
Go for it! Great with [name]Lucia[/name].
[name]Lucia[/name] and [name]Colette[/name] are a fabulous sib set! These names sound perfect together! I like etta as a nn better than etty but both are nice.
All the best!
Actually [name]Epiphany[/name] was on [name]Jan[/name] 6th. :-b
I love [name]Colette[/name]. Parisian and fabulous. An -ette name with strength!
[name]Lucia[/name] is really sweet, and has a great meaning. My only concern with pairing the two is that [name]Lucia[/name] is so distinctly Italian or Spanish (to my ears) and [name]Colette[/name] is so French.
[name]Celeste[/name] is another (originally Italian) name that might be nice with [name]Lucia[/name]. It means “sky” or “heavenly,” so it relates to [name]Lucia[/name]'s “light” in a way.
I like [name]Colette[/name], but love [name]Nicolette[/name], which is the original full version of the name. I also love your daughter’s name, [name]Lucia[/name] [name]Marie[/name]. Congratulations on your pregnancy!
