Equally classic and regal name

Hello! [name_f]My[/name_f] oldest is named [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]. I am looking for an equally “classic” name for baby girl 2. Some contenders are [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]. But my name is [name_f]Calia[/name_f] which sounds similar to [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]…so I am sort of favoring a “C” name to have another “name connection”. [name_f]Carrie[/name_f] keeps coming to mind…but it doesnt quite stand up to [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] imo. Maybe because too short? Is Carrigan too masculine? Hubby is not a fan of [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. Carianna? I wish Arianna wasnt so trendy though…Any thoughts or suggestions on C names? Or do you vote [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] or [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]? I do agree both go well with Sis [name_f]Olivia[/name_f].

Catherine or [name_f]Caterina[/name_f] might be good options, as well as [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], [name_f]Claudia[/name_f], [name_f]Chloe[/name_f], [name_f]Christina[/name_f], or [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f]/Cordelia. Between [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], I would choose [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] with [name_f]Olivia[/name_f].

I would say [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] or [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] meet your requirements. I don’t love [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] or [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] with [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] - they sound too similar to me!

If you like [name_f]Carrie[/name_f] then [name_f]Carys[/name_f] is a good option.

Though this might be a little “out there” my first thought for the nn [name_f]Carrie[/name_f] was [name_u]Caraway[/name_u]. [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_u]Caraway[/name_u] make for a lovely naturey sibset.

Other C options to consider:
[name_f]Carina[/name_f]
[name_f]Carissa[/name_f]
[name_f]Carline[/name_f]
[name_f]Carnation[/name_f]

Carys. How do you pronounce that? Is it like ca reese or ca riss?

Caraway is different…but has a pretty vibe. Interesting!

Carrie could be a nickname for a longer “Ca” name.
Does DH like [name_f]Carolyn[/name_f]? [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] is very pretty. Super popular right now, though.

Ca - riss  it’s the name of [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Zeta[/name_f] [name_m]Jones[/name_m]’ daughter you could look up videos of them saying her name

Olivia and…

  • Cora
  • Carolyn
  • Cameron
  • Cara
  • Camille
  • Chiara
  • Chelsea
  • Claire

Carys [name_f]Arianna[/name_f] would be a stunning addition to your sibset.

How about Carine (car-reen) or Carrina? I like Carrington and don’t think that it is too masculine.

I immediately thought of [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]. [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] would make a great sister pair.
Or
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f]
[name_f]Collette[/name_f]
[name_f]Constance[/name_f]

What about [name_f]Carina[/name_f]? Or [name_f]Catarine[/name_f]/Catarina. There’s also just [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] which is always classic.

Thank you all so much for the input! [name_f]Carissa[/name_f] is drawing me in a bit!
