Planning on naming our baby girl [name_f]Romi[/name_f], but can’t decide how to spell her middle name:

i’d go with [name_f]Esme[/name_f]! it’s the traditional way to spell it, and looks a bit nicer imo

[name_f]Romi[/name_f] [name_f]Esme[/name_f] is my favorite! I like the traditional spelling. I like that they both have 4 letters in them as well. Very balanced!

Definitely [name_f]Esme[/name_f]. It is more traditional and how most people would intuitively spell the name. It also looks better imo.
To me, the esmay reminds me of dismay which isn’t a good association.
If you really like the ay spelling go for it. It is only her middle name so others will rarely have to spell it anyway. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps

[name_f]Esme[/name_f] seems more traditional (I have no idea if this is true) unless you want to emphasize the “may” part, maybe to honor someone?
