I personally prefer [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]. I like the rich green color and the homey feel of [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], as well as its sound – short, yet vibrant!

Esme has just never appealed to me personally. I don’t care for how it sounds, tbh. But it is still a fine choice. You can’t really go wrong either way here.

I’m the reverse of @elanorelle.

I’ve known an [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], and the name never did much for me. I want to love it, maybe one day. :pensive:

Esme wasn’t on my radar until recently but it’s really grown on me. It has this vintage Spanish princess feel that I really love. Old but new/fresh again. I can see it now, and in medieval times :european_castle:

Esme [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] = beloved/esteemed divine queen

Ivy [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] = botanical name divine queen

Esme definitely appeals to me more. And I’m not really an [name_f]Esme[/name_f] fan so that’s saying something!

Esme [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] is lovely-a beauitful balance between rugged and sweet

I prefer [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f]! It feels natural and beautiful.

Esme gets my vote—-[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] seems more predictable and overdone.
