Esmeralda and Evelina too close?

I have recently fallen in love with the name Esmeralda… I love the full name and all the nickname options
However, my top name for a girl is Evelina Sofie and I am now wondering if I use one of these names the other one becomes unusable, or is it still usable but them I am stuck with the E theme?
Speaking of which, now that i realize it… Estevao (portuguese form of Stefan) has also become a top boy name but it feels also a lot close to Evelina and Esmeralda (specially Evelina)
However this are few of the E names that I actually like so I dont think an E theme would work for me
What do you guys think?

I think [name_f]Evelina[/name_f] and [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] could work together!! I think [name_m]Estevao[/name_m] is a little close to both of them!

I don’t think [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] and [name_f]Evelina[/name_f] are too close! I also don’t think [name_f]Evelina[/name_f] and [name_m]Estevao[/name_m] are too close.

[name_m]Estevao[/name_m] and [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] actually feel closer to me because they both start with ‘Es’, but I don’t think it’s a deal-breaker.

They’d be a little too close for me personally, but if you adore them both, I say go for it. :relaxed: I know multiple sets of sisters named Mariah & Marissa, so your choices don’t seem too close!

I fully agree with this. And it won’t become a pattern of sorts. Your pattern could be girls start with “E” and boys start with something else. It doesn’t have to be that all of your children start with the same letter.

It sounds like you like more Spanish type feeling names so what about these boys names to go with it:

Egnacio
Alarico
Alfonso
Arminio
Casparo
Casimiro
Cesar
Cesario
Damario
Inriques

If you did want to do all E’s here could be a subset for you

Esmeralda, Evelina, Eloísa, Emilano, Egnacio, and Edmundo
(this was you have an Es, an Ev, an El, an Em, an Eg & an Ed

I don’t think [name_f]Evelina[/name_f] and [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] are too close. Same with [name_f]Evelina[/name_f] and [name_m]Estevao[/name_m]. But [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] and [name_m]Estevao[/name_m] seem kinda close “Esme” “Este”
Maybe Estanislao (i think you could like this one if you like Estevao) doesn’t seem that close to [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f]
