I am desperately seeking help as will probably have baby tomorrow and have no name!
We are having a girl and have had the same top 3 first name choices for ages but can’t decide: [name_f]Estella[/name_f]- long term favourite but gone off it a bit recently; [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f]- good nicknames; and [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f]- recent addition and husbands favourite. Surname starts with H and is one syllable- similar to host.
I like feminine names, with nickname options as possible, and tend to be picking a lot of names ending in ‘a’. My husband won’t like anything that much more obscure than above level of popularity, for example I also like seraphina but that is a no. I think a first and a middle with a similar ‘a’ sound at the end won’t work as well and hence have been struggling with this as well.
Please help us!! Would appreciate any thoughts on names or any other great similar names or middles to match!!

Oh dear! I love them all! [name_f]Estella[/name_f] was a near automatic bell ringer for me just because it’s got a great meaning and a wonderful sound! Also opens up the doors for nicknames like [name_f]Effie[/name_f] or [name_f]Stella[/name_f]! [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] is darling but not a personal favorite, though the nickname [name_f]Cindy[/name_f] is super cute! [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] is right up there with [name_f]Estella[/name_f] because it’s different but sweet and seriously, what’s cuter than the nickname [name_f]Tabby[/name_f]?!
My vote is for either [name_f]Estella[/name_f] or [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f]!
[name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] [name_f]Annaliese[/name_f] is to die for as well! Here’s a few possibilities…
All three are beautiful. If it were [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Estella[/name_f] that would be my choice. It would still be between [name_f]Estella[/name_f] and [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f].
[name_f]Estella[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] is my favorite! There’s nns [name_f]Essie[/name_f], [name_f]Stella[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f]/[name_f]Elle[/name_f]/[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] (and probably more that I can’t think of right now).
