I love the name [name_f]Esther[/name_f] and I know I’m using my mother’s name [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] as a middle name but I’m wondering if it’s too choppy with [name_f]Esther[/name_f]. And is [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] too EE? [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] is my aunt (2nd mother) name. [name_m]Ive[/name_m] been going for [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f] because that what my grandma used to call her but I don’t really know if that works. I was thinking the possible nickname [name_f]Edie[/name_f] to go along with the initials EDES. Thought and suggestions welcome.
It’s so cute!
Either way.
I love [name_f]Esther[/name_f]! [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] and [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] are okay. The middles aren’t my favourite, but since they’re honour names it’s no matter. I don’t think [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] is choppy at all and I don’t think [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] is too ee-y. So either way is fine, I’m not sure I have a preference lol. [name_f]Edie[/name_f] is a very sweet nickname!
Esther [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] is beautiful! I do think it works a bit better than [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f], as [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f] feels a bit repetitive with [name_f]Esther[/name_f].
Edie would be a lovely nn choice!
I actually think it would flow better as [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f], but either way, I think it works well! [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f] would be choppier. [name_f]Edie[/name_f] is a great nn. idea!
Thank you guys so much! We’ve come with a great collection of names for when we finally conceive💜
I think it’s beautiful! [name_f]Edie[/name_f] makes a wonderful nickname.
Esther [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] is lovely and i like the nickname [name_f]Edie[/name_f]
[name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] (and [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]) is swoon-worthy!
[name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is lovely. I don’t think it sounds wrong at all.
I’m in love with the combination - both are beautiful names with beautiful meanings (I think that’s part of the charm) and I don’t think they’re too choppy in combination. Personally I think with [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] as a third name it’s too much E but since their honour names I think it would work. I’d chose [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] over [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f] because [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Esther[/name_f] both have the same vowel sequence and both have an emphasis on the first syllable, they’re not distinctive enough to work with only [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] as a “barrier”. But [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] does have a nice flow to it, and since in [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] the “i” is more pronounced than the “e” it’s not all too much “e” at once.
I like it! It’s beautiful!
