[name_f]Lydia[/name_f]. I have a bad personal connection to [name_f]Esther[/name_f]. I do think objectively I still prefer [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] - its less clunky and more sing-songy if that makes sense.

[name_f]Lydia[/name_f]! Softer, more lyrical, never really out of fashion but never trendy. [name_f]Gorgeous[/name_f].

[name_f]Esther[/name_f] for sure!! It sounds like a whisper, but still obviously super strong. Idk something about it is magical! :dizzy: [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] has always sounded a little sing-songy, whiny to me, not sure why!

esther xx

her sweet charm is so lovely, but her and lydia are tied … except etty > lydia

Two of my faves but [name_f]Esther[/name_f] is a true love for me. I also prefer [name_f]Esti[/name_f] over [name_f]Lydie[/name_f] but they’re both precious.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] both of these! [name_f]Esther[/name_f] might have a very slight edge, due to the lovely “star” meaning, but [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] is very lyrical too.

Both names of good connections of mine, I like [name_f]Esther[/name_f] more, but not by a large amount

[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] strong but sweet

[name_f]Esther[/name_f] is absolutely gorgeous! [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] is nice too, but [name_f]Esther[/name_f] has that special spark.

[name_f]Esther[/name_f]! Especially with the nickname [name_f]Essie[/name_f]

I like both very much, but [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] is a clear winner. It’s very elegant, delicate, golden, shimmery.

I love [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], it feels more timeless than Esther; it would fit a 5 year old but also a 70 year old whilst [name_f]Esther[/name_f] feels a bit more dated

Esther! Love the sparkly star meaning!

This is the most stunning description :sparkles:

[name_f]Esther[/name_f]. It has a meaning worth having. [name_f]Star[/name_f].

[name_f]Esther[/name_f]! :dizzy:

I’ve never been a huge fan of [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]. It sounds a bit flouncy, stuffy to me. I think that [name_f]Esther[/name_f] sounds melodic and exciting! I recently met both a [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] and an [name_f]Esther[/name_f] on a vacation I took last month, and I think both names were just lovely on the woman and little girl I met.

I prefer [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]! But both are beautiful names!

Both good options but I personally prefer [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]

personally prefer [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]. [name_f]Esther[/name_f] is still a bit frumpy sounding to me even though I want to like it more
