OMG this is so hard because [name_f]Esther[/name_f] and [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] are two of my favourite names… I voted for [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] because I think the flow is lovely but tbh with such beautiful names you can’t make a wrong decision!
I prefer the flow of [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], and I love how unexpected [name_f]Esther[/name_f] is a first name.
Not a fan of [name_f]Esther[/name_f] so voted for [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] as fn.
[name_m]Even[/name_m] knowing 2 lovely Esthers I cannot warm to the name. I always think of polyester…
I personally think [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] flows better than [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Esther[/name_f] + I like how it’s more uncommon
Thanks for your opinions:) [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] was my childhood nickname(a shortening of my maiden name) and I have no brothers to carry on the name except one cousin with the name who doesn’t want kids. I always enjoyed being called [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] in school but I did get some mistakes for [name_u]Ivory[/name_u] or people who ask about my name not knowing it was a nickname. It seems like it’s getting pretty common now though so it may not be an issue if we use it. Our other kids are named [name_u]Eloise[/name_u], [name_m]Daniel[/name_m], and [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and I love how [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and [name_f]Esther[/name_f] sound together…
