We are so excited because our little muffin is due in a month! This is our second child, and the first girl for both sides of the family. We are having such a hard time deciding on a name for her though. We are drawn to classic names, ones that will age well, familiar but not too common. We can’t decide between [name]Tessa[/name], [name]Emily[/name] and [name]Aubrey[/name]. I realize that all of these names are common, especially [name]Emily[/name], but I love the way it sounds…it’s just such a pretty, classic name! For middle names we were thinking of using a family name, either [name]Elise[/name], [name]Annelise[/name], or [name]Faye[/name].
I like [name]Tessa[/name] [name]Faye[/name]. To me, it’s the clearest, strongest, and most interesting.
[name]Aubrey[/name] [name]Elise[/name] is also pretty. [name]Emily[/name] [name]Faye[/name] has a lovely flow, but it’s very dainty. As someone with a three-syllable [name]Em[/name] name, I always felt [name]Emily[/name] was the most diminutive of the [name]Em[/name] names.
And congratulations!
My favorite fn is [name]Aubrey[/name]. I think [name]Aubrey[/name] and [name]Tessa[/name] are a lot less common than [name]Emily[/name]. I happen to love [name]Faye[/name] as a middle name, but any of the three flow well with [name]Aubrey[/name]. [name]Aubrey[/name] [name]Faye[/name] is going to get my vote!
I really love [name]Tessa[/name] [name]Faye[/name] and [name]Tessa[/name] [name]Elise[/name]. [name]Emily[/name] is pretty but oh so popular and I don’t care for [name]Aubrey[/name] (love [name]Audrey[/name] though).
Your middle name options would also make great first names.
