Interesting-- one of my grandma’s was [name_f]Ethel[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]-- but she did not use a nn.

I would choose [name_f]Ettie[/name_f] from your list, although I like [name_f]Ellie[/name_f].

[name_f]Ettie[/name_f] is very sweet. [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] is overused for me, I know to many little [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]'s.

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_f]Elle[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Etta[/name_f] could work for [name_f]Ethel[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] also.
