I say YOO-lah-lee, but I think yoo-[name_m]LAY[/name_m]-lee is prettier.
the original pronunciation would be ev-lah-[name_u]LEE[/name_u] so that is how I say it, but if I had to choose one it would be the second option
Yoo-lay-lee.
I’m currently considering this lovely name for my daughter, pronounced Yoo-Lah-[name_u]Lee[/name_u]. As weird as it sounds though, [name_f]Eulalia[/name_f] on the other hand I pronounce Yoo-[name_m]Lay[/name_m]-[name_u]Lee[/name_u]-ah.
Uh-lah-lee, the original pronunciation. I voted Yoo-lah-lee because it’s the closest to the original pronunciation.
I would say yoo-LAH-lee. I think it’s very pretty when pronounced that way. Since it’s unusual you could probably get away with whichever way you prefer.
As a first name I tend to say it the way I think most people in the area would, so yoo-lay-lee. I’ve had [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] on my list as a middle name before though, in which case I say it more like ooh-la-lee (ooh being the french “eu” sound)
Oo-la-lee or Oh-la-lee
You-luh-lee.
[name_m]Ive[/name_m] never heard “lay” before, but that could be because I’m from a [name_m]French[/name_m] community
