I adore [name]Eulalie[/name]. It has a modern, upbeat feel. Plus, the song “[name]Eulalie[/name]” sung by [name]Devon[/name] Sproule was forever stuck in my head for a few weeks back when I was expecting.

[name]Eulalie[/name] sounds cutesy and makes me think of ukulele

[name]Eulalie[/name]. No question. Thanks for sharing that song, thejollyfinch! Fantastic!

[name]Eulalia[/name], but I’m pretty picky on the pronunciation of both [name]Eulalie[/name] and [name]Eulalia[/name].
I went on forvo to check out the pronunciations of [name]Eulalie[/name] to see if there’s something different than what I say in my head. The French pronunciation is the one that I default to, and prefer. I keep assuming the English pronunciation comes out as “you-[name]LAY[/name]-lee” which I don’t find attractive at all. On forvo, there’s a British English pronunciation of what I head as “YOU-lily” which is actually rather pretty. Not very intuitive to my Canadian ears, though.

[name]Eulalia[/name] is one of my favourite names! I only like “ehu-LAH-li’ya” as a pronunciation, though. “you-[name]LAY[/name]-lee-ya” is not my cup of tea.

[name]Eulalie[/name]. It seems cleaner to me. I don’t really like names ending in -a’s, they seem to romantic to me. And it’s a poem by [name]Edgar[/name] [name]Allen[/name] [name]Poe[/name].

I much prefer [name]Eulalia[/name]. [name]Eulalie[/name] sounds like ukulele to me.

I picked [name]Eulalie[/name]. I think its the right amount of girly, [name]Eulalia[/name] gets too frilly for me.

Saying “[name]Eulalia[/name]” lets the mouth relax a little more. [name]Eulalie[/name] is tough on the tongue. And unless you’re pronouncing it in the perfect, proper French way, it definitely sounds like ukelele.

This is an instance of “less is more” for me. I usually prefer the more simple version of a name to avoid overdosing on the frills. I voted for [name]Eulalie[/name].
