My boyfriend and I are trying to narrow down our girl list for [name]Baby[/name], we’ve still got about 25 names on it! [name]Way[/name] too many, and too similar. We love love love the name [name]Eurydice[/name] for a girl, it feels quite different from our other girl names, but Endyimon is in our top three for boys (the frontrunner). So, the question is: Are [name]Eurydice[/name] and [name]Endymion[/name] too close to be siblings?
I love [name]Eurydice[/name] and have put it on my longer list but I do think its a little too close to [name]Endymion[/name]
No. That are two different names, they have four same sounds, but that’s not even important. [name]Both[/name] are from greek mythology. [name]Just[/name] that.
I think this would be good example for todays Nameberry’s column.
I think they’re different enough
I definitely think they’re different enough, but then when it comes to naming a 3rd baby if you had one, you might find that all the other names you like look out of place beside [name]Eurydice[/name] and [name]Endymion[/name] as they do have visual similarities.
Yeah, that’s the problem, they might get me stuck in a theme thing (Eurydice, Endymion and Robin might sound a bit weird!). We’ll probably have all boys anyway… I just love Eurydice so much! Thanks for your replies, though! I appreciate it.
