Absolutely beautiful. I prefer [name_u]Marian[/name_u].
I like the look of it but I think that [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] / [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] flows better and [name_u]Marion[/name_u], or in this case [name_f]Primrose[/name_f], doesn’t feel tacked on.
@southern.maple: Thank you! I’m thinking [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u] might be the better option. I like both spellings. [name_u]Marion[/name_u] just happens to be the Medieval spelling and that appeals to me.
@opheliaflora: [name_u]Marion[/name_u]/[name_u]Marian[/name_u] doesn’t seem tacked on to me but I completely understand how it might. I’ve considered [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] but I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_u]Marion[/name_u] side by side in a combo. Thank you for the suggestion!
Oh, that’s gorgeous! I prefer [name_u]Marian[/name_u], personally.
@c_elizabeth214: Thanks!

It’s looking like [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u] is the preferred spelling. Before I change my preferred spelling, I’d love to get some more input, positive or negative!
Thats a gorgeous combo! I also prefer [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u].
Beautiful and classy name
I like [name_u]Marion[/name_u] (because when I see [name_u]Marian[/name_u], I think [name_f]Mary[/name_f]-[name_f]Anne[/name_f]) but [name_u]Marian[/name_u] does seem to look better, either way, it’s a beautiful name!
Thanks, @bellerose and @arhythmofnames! [name_u]Marian[/name_u] is definitely the spelling I’m going to go with for this combo.
Any other thoughts?
I personally think that the spelling of [name_u]Marion[/name_u] looks softer and gives the entire combo a more rounded, balanced appearance, so my vote goes to your original preferred spelling; [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u]
[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t change the spelling. [name_u]Marian[/name_u] feels dowdy to me, but [name_u]Marion[/name_u] feels chic and elegant (much like the [name_m]French[/name_m] actress [name_u]Marion[/name_u] Cotillard).
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] is the winner for me.
I prefer [name_u]Marian[/name_u].
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] is lovely though!
Agreed! I prefer the [name_u]Marion[/name_u] spelling too.
Either [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] or [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] work!
I’m probably over thinking this but is [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u] too whimsical? I obviously love a bit of whimsy but I’m worried it might be edging towards saccharine. It’s not so much an issue with [name_u]Marion[/name_u] because I don’t associate it with Maid [name_u]Marian[/name_u]. Is [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] and [name_u]Marian[/name_u] too much together? Opinions?
Thanks!
Not at all! I think [name_u]Marian[/name_u] is a very strong, warm name, and while I agree that [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u] sounds whimsical, it has a bright and pleasant, yet grounded sense to it. Definitely not saccharine.
I normally have a strong preference when it comes to spelling but in this case I don’t
It flows really well and sounds great! I prefer [name_u]Marian[/name_u].
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] is gorgeous! I do prefer [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u] though. [name_u]Marian[/name_u] feels more feminine to me. The combination feels light, bright and sparkling, yet grounded at the same time. They’re established names with history, not trendy flash-in-the-pan names, but have a modern, fun vibe when put together.
Thank you, everyone. I’m glad [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u] / [name_u]Marion[/name_u] was well received. I appreciate all of the input you’ve given!
